Questa è un’indagine socio-poetica della città di Potenza, articolata&#38;nbsp; tra laboratori di interazione,gioco,percezione dello spazio, osservazione,camminate ed esplorazioni digitali.

È uno strumento per riconnettersi allo spazio cittadino e ai suoi abitanti agli inizi del 2022. 


È un allenamento alla scoperta, una pratica di cittadinanza, in cui gli strumenti artistici, elaborati a seconda delle età e fasi di conoscenza, sono proposti per iniziare a guardare la città con “lenti” diverse.


I nostri mentori in questo viaggio sono Beatrice Viggiani e Christian Bobin.


Con loro abbiamo iniziato a riconquistare un tempo per guardare lentamente e ritrovare memorie sopite nei tragitti che pensiamo di conoscere, nei paesaggi in cui non vediamo altro che il nostro risentimento, mentre scorgiamo colori e squarci mai notati.


L’atteggiamento poetico che abbiamo assunto per guardare la città dal piccolo al grande, dall’intimo al pubblico, ci ha fatto scoprire cose che amiamo ma anche quelle che vorremmo cambiare. Restituire le voci degli abitanti alla Pubblica Amministrazione in una forma che ha stimolato l’immaginazione, può dare vita a una relazione di dialogo basata su idee e bisogni da progettare e scrivere insieme.

Come una poesia di città è un progetto che si aggancia al passato per creare attraverso i luoghi e i ricordi dei ponti esistenziali con il presente.

È un progetto che vuole ampliare il campo tra l’ovvio e il normale.
L’ovvio ha un potere politico enorme.
L’ovvio è quello che si fa quando non si fa niente.
Ma… quando pensi a Potenza, come la pensi a livello culturale?
Come racconti la città in cui vivi?
A chi dice che si tratta di un lavoro inutile e che nulla si può cambiare, rispondiamo che abbiamo avuto insieme il coraggio di incontrare l’inaspettato.
Il coraggio di far diventare ciò che è familiare strano e ciò che è strano familiare.1
Il bisogno di svelare il bagaglio di storie che ognuno porta con sé per generazioni.
Camminando per le città possiamo prendere contatto con storie precedenti, ripercorrendo i tragitti, deviare le rotte e generare inaspettati punti di vista.
Come una poesia è lavorare sugli immaginari dei suoi abitanti.
Sul modo in cui ricordiamo.
Su come immagazziniamo la memoria.
Sulla profezia che si autoavvera.

È un modo di dire, ma rispecchia anche l’idea secondo cui basta esprimere una previsione affinché questa si realizzi.
Alle volte le nostre convinzioni sono talmente forti da spingerci a comportarci come se fossero vere. 
Così, per esempio, la narrazione in cui ormai crediamo ciecamente di essere individui egoisti, noncuranti degli altri, dell’ambiente e della città, ci guida nel compiere scelte che non possono che partire da quelle inevitabili premesse.2
